In 2015, Bimota launches the high-end version of the DB8, the DB8 Oro Nero. The additional designation Oro Nero, meaning „black gold,“ hints at the special nature of this limited edition model. As with the DB7 Oro Nero, the DB8 receives the well-known aluminum and carbon fiber composite frame and a carbon swingarm at the end of its production run. The Oro Nero weighs 3 kilograms less than the standard version. Only 10 units of this motorcycle are produced.
