With the YB10 Biposto, Bimota makes another attempt to expand its product portfolio with a two-seater sport-tourer. Compared to its sister model, the YB10 Dieci, the rear section of the monocoque – under whose cover the second seat is located – and the rear frame are modified for pillion use.
Despite additional exclusive features found only on the Biposto, such as composite wheels with high-gloss polished rim rings from Akront, an improved braking system from Brembo’s „Gold Series,“ and a striking new paint scheme, only 38 units are produced. Bimota’s clientele clearly expected single-seat sport motorcycles, making the YB10 Biposto the rarest street-legal classic Bimota.
Between 1990 and 1994, a total of 835 YB8 models are produced across five different variants.
- 252 YB8
- 152 Furano
- 169 YB8 E
- 224 YB10 Dieci
- 38 YB10 Dieci Biposto
