to my website about Bimota
For more than 20 years, I have been riding, collecting, and restoring motorcycles from the Italian manufacturer Bimota. My passion for the brand, especially for the models from before the company’s bankruptcy in 2000, captivated me from the very beginning and has never let go. Each model fascinates me with its outstanding craftsmanship, attention to detail, technical innovations, and unmistakable Italian design.
With this website, I aim to help keep the Bimota brand and its fascinating products in the public eye. I hope it will appeal to like-minded enthusiasts who share my passion for Bimota and, most importantly, inspire new visitors to develop an interest in the brand.
About the website structure:
The content of this website is based on carefully gathered information.
Bimota’s history, as well as the model presentations, are structured chronologically, making it easy to read like a non-fiction book. Technical descriptions and information build on each other to avoid repetition. If multiple models share the same designs or components, the relevant details are primarily found under the first model that introduced them.
In the three sections „Stories,“ „For Mechanics,“ and „Tours,“ I have documented my personal experiences and insights related to Bimota over the years. More technical tips will gradually be added here, along with (hopefully) many travel reports and other stories.
For use on a smartphone or tablet, I recommend reading the pages in landscape mode, as this corresponds to most image formats and allows tables to be viewed without horizontal scrolling.
A small request:
If you come across any errors on the website, I would appreciate your feedback. Additionally, it would be fantastic if, with the help of the Bimota community, I could fill the existing gaps in image material for some models. And of course, in the spirit of „all about Bimota“, I am always open to new experiences, suggestions, and ideas.
Enjoy reading and exploring!
